In fairness, though, burglaries do have an atrocious crime clearance rate in virtually every jurisdiction. They're just a bitch to solve due to the nature of the act. For 2021, the ratio was 14.1% in the US, 15.7% in France and 19.5% in Germany to give just three examples.
So it's save to say that the vast majority of cases will remain unsolved.

Because the amount of time put into the investigation is practically zero these days. "Other priorities", "lack of available resources" etc. Has been going on for years.

Available resources pursuing other priorities like beating up people not wearing masks, dragging authistic children saying random things to officers out of their homes, posting "hurtful" things online or standing at the side of the road with a lasergun collecting additional taxes.

People saw they could earn lots of money by either doing really stupid stuff, or "promoting progressive life-style choices". Or both.
You know, the whole "fat is beautiful", "fat is healthy", that sort of thing.

Nah, let them do. Let them eat themselves to death. They are sorting themselves out.

Yes, it was not okay that he kissed that woman without consent and yes, it was a dickish move that he did not just apologise … but come on. It was a kiss. Judging by the global attention this "affair" has been getting, you'd think he raped her there and then.

He’s known as a bit of a macho man as they say in España and while force kissing a woman is wrong, today the sailor kissing a woman in Times Square after the Victory would be beyond frowned upon. What a world.
