Junglas are bad ass. US Service members sometimes attend their course. I wanted to while I was still in, but became too old and retired.

Interesting photo here taken in Israel just a week before the Six Day War of 1967 started. These men are NCOs inspecting the small arms of reservists in the field. The interesting thing to point out is the equipment in use. Prior to the Six Day War the IDF received vast numbers of French TAP Mle 1947/54/56 and the Mle 58 tout-arms "Lizard" uniforms which became scattered among the IDF in vast numbers and the pattern remained in use for sometime though these were phased out by solid color uniforms once more.
