Nope. No evidence of artillery fire. It looks the "Russian bogatyrs" got loaded on bootleg alcohol and caused an accident. Ukrainian artillery wouldn't have bother with T-34s being prepped for the "immortal zombies" march.

Ukrainian soldiers guard a gate of an infantry base in Privolnoye, Ukraine, Sunday, March 2, 2014. Hundreds of unidentified soldiers arrived outside Ukraine’s infantry base in Privolnoye in its Crimea region. The convoy includes at least 13 troop vehicles each containing 30 soldiers and four armored vehicles with mounted machine guns. The vehicles, which have Russian license plates, have surrounded the base and are blocking Ukrainian soldiers from entering or leaving it.

False flag operation. These guys were supposed to impersonate "Right Sector". This fake was so laughable that even Russian media didn't give it much of an air time.
What I don't understand is why the war in Syria is called "civil war" despite of official involvement of foreign armies, yet the war in Ukraine is called war against Russia though it has all attributes of a civil war?

Don't buy into Russian propaganda. The war is not called civil because it wouldn't have been possible for a whole gamut of reasons without Russian incitement and full on direction, support, and involvement. There were no reason for war simply because Ukraine was and is a functional democracy with a long list (perhaps too long) of political parties. Ukrainian military didn't split along any lines. There were practically no defections. If there is a major flare up, Russia immediately sends Cossacks. assorted paramilitaries, PMCs, and regulars to prevent the so-called people militias from collapsing, even though they are far better equipped and armed, and Ukrainian army is not that strong. The local collaborators have no local, independent from Kremlin power base or legitimacy and are discarded like unwanted toys. In short, in the words of Girkin, "I pulled the trigger of war".
