Soviets abused "untrustworthy" minorities before, during and after the war.

One reason why they were so quiet in the west was, that large chunk of the media were left leaning and simply supported the Soviet project and it's ideals.

For example in post war Finland, nato snd the west was imperialistic, while soviet missiles were for peace. It went as far as one school teaching kids with "soviet curriculum", until they were caught.

“Eurasia” from Stalin, Mao Ze tong to the Khmer Rouge have a decent enough record at exterminating people, usually their own.

Hard to come by numbers, death toll and figures but the 100M people liquidated by those kind even if exaggerated doesn’t seem too far off. Through famine, AK47…

As far as Nazism goes, their ideology is murderous by design. Stop. I won’t rewrite the whole Second World War saga. It was a shitshow that America/allies tried its best to settle and the rest is history.

And racist. But practically everyone knows this.

But if you talk with Russians or far left, or just random person on the streets, they will often claim that soviets were tolerant of all people and were only horrible toward "class enemies" (person owning more than one cow / educated/ shop owner...)

Footage of three Ukrainian M109 self-propelled guns being destroyed by Russian FPV drones. The 155mm M109 self-propelled howitzers have been produced in the United States since 1962. The howitzer has a firing range of up to 30 km and a crew of up to 6 people. Ukraine received 90 self-propelled guns of the following versions: M109A3GN, M109A4BE, M109A5O and M109A6/L. The video shows a Russian FPV drone striking a Ukrainian M109 self-propelled gun near the village of Sergeyevka, west of Pokrovsk. Drone footage of a burning Ukrainian M109 self-propelled gun near the village of Liptsy, in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. And footage of a Ukrainian serviceman from the ground, destroyed by a Ukrainian M109 self-propelled gun, as a result of an attack by a Russian FPV drone in the Sumy region of Ukraine.

I don't think Biden's strategy of dripping in supplies was intentional. Not sure there was a strategy as such. Also dripping in supplies by weapon class rather than grouping supplies to enable an entire formation was a mistake. Again, I don't think intentional.

But at this point the only one who doesn't want peace is Putin. There is a deal to be had where he gets more than he deserves. But he doesn't want it.

Nope. In addition to the intentional drip of weapons to Ukraine, Biden put restrictions on how these weapons could be used. Remember last year when Biden finally lifted restrictions that allowed Ukraine to strike deeper into Russia? You think the timing was just a coincidence?

The notion that the entire West wants peace is a pro-Ukraine talking point. Under the Democrats/NeoCons, we used Ukraine as a delicious tool to economically and militarily bleed Russia over time. The war prohibits Russia from starting wars elsewhere and also serves as a future deterrent.

And lets not forget the military industrial complex, Ukraine is fantastic opportunity for us to test weaponry. Perpetual war = Profit! .

Yes it sucks for Ukraine; they're getting slaughtered left and right. But it’s an effective way to neutralize Putin.

I don't think Biden, (himself) even knew what was happening, let alone plot a strategy, intentional or not. And the people around him were pretty incompetent to be honest.

The next German Chancellor based:
I have been briefed extensively about Russia's economic situation. Throughout their history, the Russians have endured an incredible amount of suffering. Russian policy has always treated human lives as expendable. One should therefore not hope that economic hardship will end the war at some point, or that there will be some form of uprising against the regime. The key to [ending the war] lies in the hands of Vladimir Putin. He must understand that he cannot win this war through military means. In my opinion, we should have given Ukraine much more support from day one. Had we done so, maybe the war could already be over. (Source)

An episode of the work of the Russian special forces unit "GRACHI" in Ukraine, the exact location of the shooting is not reported. Russian army special forces scouts conduct reconnaissance of the area and stumble upon a temporary deployment point of the Ukrainian army, with 4 soldiers, located in one of the destroyed houses. As a result of a short firefight, one Ukrainian serviceman surrenders, the second presumably blows himself up with a grenade. The video is shortened, the dead serviceman is removed from the video.
