Hope oil prices fall much further but I think he will backtrack the tariffs.

And what else pressure will Trump use on Russia except for the unintended one?
Or perhaps he halted the tarifs because they were hurting his handler BFF?

The crew can consider themselves lucky that their drunk yokel army has laughable air defences.

When? Pretty patient Mr. Prez..
The best way to pressure Putin is with dropping oil prices. I haven't checked today, but it has to be in the mid $50's per barrel, which means Putin is selling for even less. I hear that Europe is still buying Russian oil through third parties.

Is the West Really Pursuing Peace?

I often wonder if the United States and the West, particularly the European Union, genuinely want peace. The ongoing conflict has become a testing ground for the latest military technologies—surface-to-air missiles, anti-tank missiles, electronic warfare countermeasures, drones, and more. It seems like a real-world sandbox for refining these weapons, potentially for future conflicts with our only real adversary, China.

Seems to me a bit too expensive method for r&d. Few of the people paying for this have much to do with defense companies, so I really doubt this narrative.

Is Russia pursuing peace in any other way than Ukrainian capitulation? I don't see anything that points to that.

This is the thing, every side would sign for peace today, but the conditions that they are ready to sign are vastly different.
