Who conducted the Poll Cockholstersforputler.com?
do you just like to toss around insults? what info do you have to suggest this poll is wrong? I have no idea if it is or not, its possible to generate whatever type of results you want to see from a poll, though that is usually not the objective.
With the state of the economy here, I can see that people might be starting to see their own national concerns as greater than a fight going on in Europe.
you know, you are welcome to petition YOUR country to increase their aid to Ukraine so the US doesnt have to do as much heavy lifting.
In fact, All of you in the EU would probably be more than welcome to increase aid to Ukraine, and rely a little (or a lot) less on the US sugar daddy.

Gee . . . . somebody got out of the wrong side of the bed today, its called having an opinion, same as the "pollsters" and if you start supporting a side in a conflict then you are in for the long haul the US will probably continue that support for as long as it takes the average guy in the street will have little to no say in what happens and the US is not as economically "poor" as you suggest again my opinion here but to many sitting taking welfare checks for far to long its become their "right". The average US citizen had no choice but to support the 14 years or so of military/economic support to Afghanistan and Iraq didn't they?

Also, there is a big difference between the way the E.U. functions and the U.S., the E.U. countries (as opposed to U.S. States) have far greater powers in committing to or not committing to E.U. proposals, something U.S. States do not have towards U.S. Government policy.
Which would be my country? I an Anglo-Irish (Republic of Ireland is NOT a member of NATO mores the pity) but I am an official resident in Romania, Romania is currently upgrading its military to NATO standards, its also prepared for any potential Russian push towards Moldavia by Orcland.

As for the US being a "sugar daddy" well they keep offering stuff people will accept.

The incident(s) impacting the Nord Stream pipelines presents some interesting and disturbing potentialities.

First concern is the newly inaugurated Norwegian-Polish pipeline. But that's not all; the liquefied gas terminals are rather vulnerable as well, but in either of those eventualities Russia would need to come out of the shadows in order to sabotage them.

The second concern is what other Easter eggs did Russia leave during the run up to this conflict? They had plenty of time to plan for contingencies. Regarding the Nord Stream explosions, it strains credulity that this was a technical issue, so who had the motive, and more importantly the capability to carry out such an undertaking? There are reports that there was no suspicious activity in the area prior to the incident, but this could have been facilitated weeks ago, with the Russians assuming that it would take time to trace responsibility back to them.

The important thing now is to determine, as quickly as possible, within a reasonable doubt, who the actor is, and return the favor in a commensurate manner that directly impacts the vital interests of that actor.

Assuming this was an attack, this is hybrid war on steroids, but it is still an act of war. It impacts vital security, economic and environmental concerns for multiple NATO & EU members. To not respond, is to invite a future where Europe operates under a cloud of blackmail. It also lays bare the desperation of the clique in Moscow. It should demonstrate that they have abandoned any pretense of a future free and fair partnership with Western Europe. This needs to be clearly understood by the West.

They believed what was written in the sales brochure rather than the manual ?

Look at the state of that paintjob. Like they took a brush to the worst rusted bits and then smeared it over with some paint.

The Class of '75.

If it weren't for Russia's low life expectancy we might have seen veterans still wearing the same steel helmet and AKM as they did in Prague '68.

Gas prices still stabilising below 200 and in 18 months again below 100 if Germany manages to permanently use 20% less gas we can get back to 20 something Euro in 2024 - 25. Putin can do nothing about it.

The noose is tightened. If Russian forces were to flee now, they'd have to leave all of their equipment.

US Embassy in Russia Issues Warning to Americans to Leave Russia "Immediately"

In the statement released this morning on the embassy's website, the US government issued a security alert and called on citizens to leave the country:

"Russia may refuse to recognize US citizenship for dual nationals, deny them access to US consular assistance, prevent their departure from Russia and recruit dual nationals for military service.

The embassy in Moscow also warns that Americans “must not travel to Russia” and advises all those residing or visiting the country to “depart from Russia immediately while limited commercial travel options still exist”.

The text warns that commercial flights from Russia are "currently extremely limited" and are often unavailable at short notice. "If you wish to leave Russia, you must make independent preparations as soon as possible."

US diplomacy also warns about the demonstrations in Russia. “We remind US citizens that the right to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression are not guaranteed in Russia. Avoid all political or social protests and do not photograph security officers at these events. Russian authorities have arrested US citizens who participated in demonstrations.”

....

Should we worry? :|
