I suppose these are some of the same people that skip an insurance premium just before a hurricane, so they can take a big shiny vacation after the storm passes.
I'm guessing a good percentage react to complex issues such as these at an infantile level. They want something, they cry for it. Others at a child's level with minimal understanding, get impatient and want it to end, long term effects be damned.
Sounds like there is still a narrow path out of Lyman. Probably for the best, gives all the Lyman "hero's" a chance to make a dash for the exit under heavy bombardment rather than staying in the city and having to be dug out.
Its not censored. Its just that if in all of Thuringia 24000 demonstrate for a wild mix of reasons
like corona, Ukraine and high prices it is no headline for major outlets.
In some cities only a few hundred demonstrated and 2400 at max.
Anyway its a minority of people against everything. But for Thuringia it has some industries dependent on cheap gas.
But its very hard to convince them who is the culprit of this situation. Its Russia having planned this all along with a German political caste willing to surrender themselves completely despite warnings. Helped by industries like BASF which go full in on Russia and China without any doubts. BASF Ludwigshafen uses as much energy as the whole of Switzerland in a year.
You can demonstrate in a democracy but thats what those people don't get. 30 years ago they where oppressed by the Stasi and SU had less than now and despite of that they let themselves be steered into hysterical Angst and anger by right wing extremists working together with the FSB.
