Totally possible when dealing with ruthless dictators.

I mean no one challenges them ever and they produce the desired narratives themselves why should they act differently outwards than they do inwards?

Outwards they still need to create some "facts" while inwards they need nothing ...

But that is/was what made it so great.

Everyone can do their thing without crazy dictators.

The US and the EU and all other Western allies like UK AUS and JP somehow are/were a bullwark against that crazyness.

Sad to see this being torpedoed for no good reason.

But I do understand that hesitation when sitting on another continent why engage in potentially deadly adventures?
Post WW2 things were different. The world was in shambles. The Soviet Union was a very real global threat. There was nothing stopping them from rolling across Western Europe. So NATO was formed, essentially controlled and financed by the US. The US kept global sea lanes free and open so every country could trade with every other country. The US opened the largest consumer market in history to all, it's own, and charged no tariffs while allowing foreign tariffs. There was also a pretty bad European record of world wars getting out of control and the US decided it needed to take charge of everything.

Guess what? It worked. Everyone is rich and successful. The Soviet Union is gone and Russia is far from a super power.

So the world has changed. The US wants a strong Europe that can take care of it's own business. The world is realigning itself.

Despite the ongoing fighting in the Kursk region, the Russian army has begun to remove abandoned military equipment from the Ukrainian army. There is quite a lot of equipment, we are publishing some footage of it. Some of the captured equipment was destroyed, some was damaged, some are fully operational. For example, two abandoned Ukrainian M2A2 Bradley ODS-SA and an HMMWV armored vehicle with a mileage of 14 thousand kilometers are operational. The HMMWV armored vehicle even had fuel, and is already being used by Russian units. The video also shows an abandoned Ukrainian Aqaba Petra Hunter APC armored vehicle with electronic warfare systems, an International MaxxPro armored personnel carrier, an IMR-2 engineering vehicle, an M1A1 SA Abrams tank, and other military equipment. The captured armored vehicles are sent for study, to firing ranges, to exhibitions, and to some combat units.
