Regarding tanks....
The German Leos have been in storage for decades and would need many months to refurbish, maybe longer. I don't believe Germany has more than a 100 left in any case. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
No country is willing to strip it's core defense and send their own operational tanks to Ukraine, not in any number.
Perhaps best bet is to get all the Soviet era tanks still languishing and/or waiting for repair and updates, both Ukrainian and captured Russian, back in the field faster.

Germany has been stripping it's own core defense for decades, so have many other European countries. That's part of why we're in this mess, weakness invites aggression.

Truely! I didnt mention it in the first look... This is like in comic books in my childhood, the bad guys always had a certain symbol which marked them as the bad guys (for exampel in Rex Danny)

Ukraine must get Western weapons to achieve vastly superiour kill rates towards this cold war era relict. While reducing their own losses.
The armoured fist was still not used you need Western tanks for that.
The Bundeswehr had over 2000 Leo 2s.

The problem are not PL-DE relations, but making Poland defenceless. We still have about 180 PT-91s (as 50+ of them were donated to Ukraine) and a number of T-72s. Poland is upgrading Leopard 2A4s to the 2PL standard. The programme is delayed and it has cost a few € bns. We are not Spain or Portugal, but a frontline NATO country and we cannot become defenceless.

Fuckers. To hell with them.
I hope they keep on bringing the latest stuff and punch Russia to hell. Don't care if it will cost me 4 times more to pay my gas bill here. Russia would not survive one month if countries would escalate this to another level.
Prolonging this is the stupist thing worlwide including russia.

Poland can't donate them to Ukraine anyway without permission from Germany.
Also from the article: "The pace at which it could give those to Ukraine depends on how quickly Poland receives replacement tanks it has ordered from manufacturers in South Korea and the U.S., he said. Berlin would also need to approve."
