Translate "It's a very strange thing. The speaking employee is the owner of the building. The calling is the Israeli army. The owner tells them to hit the empty land behind the building so that the streets and adjacent buildings are not damaged."

Uh-oh:

Just looking at a map, why didnt the Palestinians all move to sinai, and build a new country there? After 50 years of arguing, sometimes you just have to move on. I'm pretty sure the nasty old 'west' has offered billions to do just that, move on - shack up with the iranians if you want, but move on.
no cement

That's not true, actually. Iron Dome has failed in a number of areas, likely due to oversaturation.
Here is an IDF satellite surveillance video [unclassified] of a Hamas missile doing it's best limp dick impression yesterday. If you would like to see all 350 misfires or "hand of God" protection of Israel I'll have some spare time in a few weeks to send them. But if you want to bury your head in the Iranian sand I'm cool with that but you may want to spend next week underground if you see an F35 with a Scorpion on her tail fly overhead. Israel don't play.....& don't worry about over saturation for Iron Dome allowing a few missiles thru that somehow are hitting the Arab population.....damage & killing citizens within Israel's borders will get the world media on Israel's side for what's coming next week. Oh, & the ground war into Gaza started a few minutes ago with aircraft softening things up for the ground troops. Stay safe buddy.

Ok.

Okay pardon me if my question sounds amateur-ish, but I just want to understand why certain people support Israel in this?

It is easy to understand where the likes of @Mike1976 and @BCNTM are coming from. There is a correlation between right-wing political affiliation and this almost unexplainable adoration and sympathies for the state of Israel. In their world view, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is essentially an extension of this wider civilizational clash between the West and Islam. These people abhor their countries having been 'overrun' by Muslim groups, seeing their streets increasingly been characterized by veiled women and suspicious and aggressive looking foreigners. Combined with this association between terrorism and Islam, these people consider Israel to be on the front line of this all-defining civilizational struggle. It is not really the love for Israel that triggers them but their hatred for brown-looking folks from the Middle East with their 'backward' culture.

Ouch, did you get badly burned when you set that strawman on fire?

Now I as a right-winger support fully Hamas in this fight because I approve of their habit of throwing homosexuals off tall buildings, of keeping women in the home where they belong and of executing people foolish enough to disagree with these policies.

Not a full court press yet on the ground forces until a few towers, warehouses & leadership are taken out by air. Lot of civilians still heading south by foot so they need a few more hours & the rest will be explained in a couple of hours.

I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army--your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords.

Oh that's... I like that.
Is it your creation?
