Germany:
U-60 a Type IIC submarine, suspended from a crane at the Deutsche Werke shipyard in Kiel
Altafjord, 16 March 1944. Tirpitz starts the 2nd day of her extensive trials following 6 months out of action as a result of the British midget submarines' attack on 22 September 1943.
U-250 in a drydock in Kronstadt, September 1944, raised by the Soviets for examination after being sunk on its first patrol in July. Navigational charts and cipher codes were recovered, but the most valuable trophy was the electric, acoustic-homing torpedo G7es (T5) Zaunkönig.
Type XXI U-boat production, Section 8 being loaded on special pontoons at the Danziger Werft, to be transported to the nearby Schichau Shipyard, circa 1944-45. Sections 2, 3, and 1 are already loaded. The pontoons appear to be made from pressure hulls for type VII U-boats.
