First they killed my father

Cambodian author and human rights activist Loung Ung recounts the horrors she suffered as a child under the rule of the deadly Khmer Rouge.

I started watching this today and nearly turned it off because of the subtitles, glad I didn't. This movie is moving and gripping and at times almost had me in tears.
There isnt actually that much talking so the subtitles did not cause me too much bother, in any case you will soon forget they are there.

This film is a good watch and I recommend it 100%, I watched it on Netflix

Really give it a go and let it get started before you judge it too much

I watched part of it on Netflix and parts were hard to take. Burn in hell, Pol Pot!
