Not again . I know there's going to be a big political gun debate after the dust settles but there seems to be something deeper running within society . Narcicissm , stress , money worries I don't know which but there's something not right . Hope the families affected make some sort of recovery from all this carnage .

40 year old African American government employee went postal with a .45 handgun after being fired.

This incident will be forgotten in mere days.

That’s true, we’ve become so emotionally numb to these tragedies they are forgotten within weeks. I’m actually surprised someone even bothered to start a thread about it.

That's the worry Jake . The whole incident does add weight to the argument that banning AR15 s isn't really going to prevent such incidents as I think he just had a regular pistol and a rifle . I'm going to guess loosing his job meant he was going to loose everything ( house, healthcare etc) and it just pushed him over the edge .

Not the first or the last disgruntled employee to decide to seek revenge against coworkers or managers/CEO/mayor.

Sure. No one need the AR-15 or AK-47 to mass kill although assault rifles make these mass killing far more « efficient ».
