Iran is already running the show in large parts of the region. Most of your allies in the ME - with the Saudis being exemplary - are utter incompetent. Iran already fired missiles/drones and got away with it.

The Israelis are a bit more able but they themselves struggle with a single proxy of Iran (Hezbollah). Iran is too big and strong for the Israelis to handle. That is why they need you guys to do the heavy work.

Everyone had different reasons, US mainly so they could if they chose take military action. The point I would make, is that there are several players that will not allow Iran to create nuclear weapons.

Iran is already a nuclear threshold state, which means that the only reason why it doesn't have nuclear weapons already is because the political top has decided that it isn't in the best interest of the state to acquire them (at this moment). Now ask yourself this question; if some players aren't going to allow Iran to build nuclear weapons, why the hell have they allowed Iran to come this far. I mean, the Israelis took out Iraq's and Syria's nuclear facilities when their program's was still at their initial stage. Iran has managed to build a wide and complex nuclear industry, and it still moves with impunity.

Such actions that could/will be taken, will impact Iran. They wont impact main street USA. For sure Iran could then try and throw a tantrum, but as discussed previously, missiles in bunkers, high speed boats, are easy kills for the sorts of weapons USA has. Iran is playing with fire.

They won't impact main street USA? When the body bags are returning and the conflict is having its economic impact throughout the world, you bet they are going to feel it. And it isn't like the US is in its best shape right now.

Iran has been preparing for a conflict for decades. Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam are going to be a walk in the park compared to a future conflict with Iran.

It doesn't happen where you live because there aren't countries with the capabilities of the US and Israel plotting similar assassinations.

We arent, neither are we praying for the chance to bomb you. On the other hand you appear to relish the idea, and you promote that Iran is ready for anything. Eventually your neighbours are going to get fed up of the rabid dog at no 7, and they will get together, and shoot your dog, and if really mad, burn your house down. Most people/countries try to be good neighbours.
