Update: The IAF under the direction of the General Security Service, attacked the southern suburbs of Beirut, targeting a Hezbollah terrorist who had recently directed Hamas operatives and assisted them in carrying out a serious terrorist attack against Israeli citizens in the near future.

I was just watching Al Arabiya, and according to Israel's Channel 14, a large-scale attack on Iran is expected to begin soon—an attack of unprecedented scale since World War II.

I haven't found any other sources confirming this yet, so if anyone has a link, feel free to share.

At the moment a lot of rumors are going around, telling everything and their opposite.

The B2s being deployed at Diego Garcia could be intended to many things. Intimidation against China (though China would probably don't care), Yemen or Iran.
All things considered that's a pretty nice spot the USAF has got there.

Every time I see a military installation in a tropical paradise, it immediately triggers Far Cry I nostalgia for some reason...

B-2s have been moved to Diego Garcia and Trump's message towards Iran is getting harsher so pressure is noticably being increased. Whether Iran will cave is the question, though I highly doubt it.

I don't see anything more in the cards other than a strike on the nuclear program unless Iran tries another ballistic missile attack on Israel or US bases in SA in which case their military industry will revert back to what it was in 1982. Or if they are really stupid they'll stuff NBC material into their ballistic missiles in which case Iran will experience a first nuclear test on it's soil, several dozen in fact, simultaneously.

Regime change takes way too much effort and resources while being a wild gamble as to the outcome. That's the main hope for Iran, that Trump's campaign promises against foreign intervention mean he's bluffing, or that he can remember what he said six months ago, or even cares about what he said.

Not great odds for Iran.

Regarding the B-2s specifically I don't them as a threat against Jemen, B-52s would be far more economical considering they'd be accompanied by EW assets anyway and would drop their payload outside of the range of most of Jemen's limited AD.

Iran is a different matter, the GBU-57s that are needed would need to be dropped conventionally over the target area.

If Iran equips their ballistic missiles with nbc warheads, it’s game over. Internally, I believe Iranian rebel groups are just waiting for the right moment. And all the gear we left in Afghanistan? I don’t think it was abandoned without purpose—I’m pretty sure it was left there in preparation for a future ground offensive by the taliban on iran .

From my years of observing the Iranian regime, they’re too cowardly to take bold action. They excel at oppressing civilians, women, and children but are ineffective against real opposition. That said, their nuclear ambitions have cost them dearly, and they’ve invested too much to simply abandon them. Right now, both Iran and the world are in uncharted territory. I’ve said it before—2025 is shaping up to be a pivotal year. Either events unfold as trumpo intends, allowing the iranian dictator to hold onto power, or we witness the rise of a new, secular Iranian revolution

And if an attack from iran happens on israel, I'm very curious to see how the Israelies will handle an attack with 1,000–2,000 or maybe 5000 ballistic missiles and UAVs. Last year, just 100 missiles hitting the desert threw the entire country into chaos, with barely any intercepted—now imagine that number multiplied by 10, 20, or even 50.

As for the idea of nuking Iran, I'm also interested in how that would impact neighboring countries... Might be time to start stocking up on iodine.
