The penny starts dropping...
An intifada against an intifada.

This has never as far as I can recall been my opinion on any conflict zone before, but in this case a civil war wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen.

Seems like someone is done FAFO-ing.

If a group gains control in Gaza that is less intent on an endless cycle of violence and graft, that could change the game.

Hell, they can keep the graft part.

Why are the Houthis attacking the ships? The latest Isreali offensive which is your ally.
During the ceasefire the Houthis kept attacking ship's in the Red Sea regardless. Hardly anybody in the western media reported on it because it doesn't fit the leftists narrative, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

The latest Israeli pressure to get Hamas to stick to their part of the ceasefire agreement plays no role in what has been happening in the Red Sea since the start of the conflict. US airstrikes started the day after Israeli resumed their operations as Hamas refused to release hostages. During that day the Houthis would have needed to attack (US) shipping multiple times + the US would have needed meetings of various policy makers to decide on a course of action + brief all military personnel + prepare for action + move into position + cover the distance to the targets.

Time restraints simply render the usual Israel blaming silly, there's only so much you can do in 24hrs. Even the US can't go through the entire process that ends with conducting large scale airstrikes half a world away that quickly. The timing was likely intentional to send a stronger message to Iran that their proxies can be eroded on all fronts at the same time leaving their heartland right open, the US no doubt knowing that Israel was going to resume operations after Hamas kept playing games.

It's a priority for France?

Oh my, I am sure it means a lot to Bibi.

Aside from yapping on the phone there is nothing substantial done by Macron. But at least he gets to say he yapped a lot.
