I caught the season opener of Resident Alien last night. I likes me some science fiction and will keep up with it.
Imdb rates it 8.2.... I'll have a look out for it. I'd guess Alan Tudyk is a good fit for the role?

Catching up on the last season of the expanse, what a great sci-fi show that was. I had tried "Future man" but it was too silly... few laugh out loud moments but just not good enough.

Ha just watched it, Lee Mack, good choice. Jon neatly tearing the set to pieces. I think Sean would be happy with all of that.

I am watching a series that has some guy modifying his Roland TR 808 and I am wondering if all those holes he is drilling in it are really worth it. its given me anxiety to watch lol!

Have a lot of time on my hands at the moment so have thrown my self into 'Ted Lasso' - an American Football coach comes to the UK to manage an English Premier League Football team.
It's essentially an excuse to have a relentlessly cheery and upbeat American surrounded by angry, sweary English people all the time, and it's hilarious and genuinely heartwarming.

A lot of the surrounding cast are great in it but need an extra special mention of Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent - a very thinly veiled Roy Keane... Just angry at the world and every other word out of his mouth is an F-bomb.

NSFW warning -

Roy has to pick up his niece from school

Found this Italian episode of a series ... ... No subtitles ..

Tokyo Vice is very good.
I watched the first two episodes without knowing anything about it. But the way it was filmed reminded me of something. Then i saw the end credits. Michael Mann was involved, and it clicked Heat, Miami Vice, Collateral that is what it was reminding me of.

Barry - I'm binge-watching the first two seasons again so I can enjoy the long-awaited third one.

Station 11.
Superbly made. One of those shows, where every episode is an Oscar quality. Very much recommended.

Beforeigners.
Cute, tongue-in-the-chick sci-fi/film noir. Enjoying it very much.

The very percussive documentary Winter on Fire about the Maidan 2013-2014 is also available on YouTube. One of the best on the subject, I think after all, but every time you understand why Ukrainians think that way and what has happened to them since then.

This I cant recommend this show enough. I didnt care much for my 1 month stay in Japan in 2020, but after watching this felt like a connection.
