I was very well entertained by a ten year old revamp of battlstar galactica.

It´s dark, has interesting religious undertones with machines developing something more than simply executing a program...And althogh some episodes are too long and there is clearly at least one season too much, I enjoyed it...Apart from the spaceships, everything looks vintage though..the President sitting at her desk with phones that look like the ones we had when the first series of Galactica was running more than 40 years ago.

The first Galactica was barely watchable with the Cylons being total morons, an obnoxious kid with a robot dog that should have been given the shot, and very campy acting from most of the crew.

EDIT: better preview:

Yeah, crappy news. One of my altime favourites is him needlessly ripping into a bunch of child actors.

Have just started watching «Nine Perfect Strangers » with, among others Nicole Kidman on Prime.

Only one ep so far, and I’m not super thrilled honestly. A number of people gather into some retired mansion/house in the sticks for some peace and quiet or some couple therapy.

I’m willing to give this one a chance and will continue tomorrow and over the weekend.

Winkleman could never handle him, as soon as he starts a story she's got her head in her hands hardly keeping it together. Rectum of the year on cats does countdown, I thought she was going to hyperventilate.

"I beat Fern Cotton. And let me tell you, hers is pretty messed up".

Ok, I started watching FOUNDATION from Apple, "supposedly" the TV adaptation from Isaac Asimov's masterpiece books...and I can say that after the first 2 released episodes , I'm UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED !!!!!!

I hoped for a more or less adaptation of the story but instead they gave us a sci-fi show that takes some inspiration from the books but it is in truly a complete diferent storyline...oh, and did i mentioned the woke agenda ALL OVER IT????? At least 3 main characters changed sex from the books to the TV, with 2 changing etnicity as well, plus they added a romantic storyline that doesn't fit at all with the original characters...

So, my advise is, if you never read the books, maybe you will like a general sci-fi series same as a dozen others...IF you read the books (more than once in my case), most likely you will be extremely disappointed... :(

I would like to know some opinions, if anyone has watched it

I’m watching.

And while I’m a huge sci-fi fan I have typically avoided Asimov’s Foundation series in favour of hard science fiction.

Asimov hedges his bets with psychohistory, building a semi-probabilistic possibility for individuals but a rigid deterministic universe for all.

I find deterministic belief systems and fictional worlds too ‘inshallah‘ depressing for me.

Devs was pretty awesomely weird hard sci-fi where a perceived deterministic universe was shattered by a probabilistic outcome.

There has to be at least a small chance of cutting the puppet strings.

Three episodes into 'Only Murders in the Building' - very much enjoying it.

A pity they "deviated" so much from the book :(

Caught a series in its 7th season: Bosch.

I really liked it. Titus Welliver carries it all, or almost. The temp is slow but intense in a way...No lost time for stupidities.

“Into the Night” second season now available on Netflix is pretty meh.

They have bunkered down to avoid the deadly sun only to argue and fight all day. It has lost a bit its original appeal.
