I dont think they 'had' to rush anywhere, the house was not on fire.

And no-one knew Ukr would receive huge help. Hell Germany told them it was to late when they asked.

UKr receives huge help now, because Russia invaded, for no valid reason.

Lets compare losses, if Russia occupies Ukr for 20 years.

Lets give it a week on the economy.
I think everybody tought Ukr is going to surrender/capitulate very fast so help was not promised. When the world saw that they will inded put up resistance and also have some chances they shifted opinion for 180° about sending help.

Yeah, that's my point.

Over Syria Russia flew high, over Ukraine Russia is flying low.

Though Ukraine is believed to have around 72 9K37M1 (as of 2016).
Only six S300 systems were kept in working conditions between 2004 and 2014 (40% in good condition prior to 2014), with 34 launchers in Crimea when it got seized in 2014.
And a bunch of stingers.
Ukraina managed to repair many of its S300 systems but i do not have clue how much. They had at least 28-30 batteries in total. That is a huge no. On top of that are Buks, OSA, Strela 10, thousands of Strela 2 and Igla MANPADS... Very potent AD. I am not sure about S 125 but there were rumors that they have activated several of S 125 units several years ago.

Wouldn't be surprised if they get some presents from Finland or Greece.

I didn't want to get into this here, preferring for the war to end and discuss it then. But.....here it is.

they may not understand that term the same way we do.

I think it has much more to do with political posturing. Not wanting to be seen escalating the situation before there is actual military action. Only a few countries donated weapons before that point.

No, they mean a democratic country in a bloc of democratic countries being an example for the rest of the world. Fox has to make everything about the conspiracy theories their viewers are obsessed with just like the History Channel makes everything about the Knights Templar and the free masons. Catering to the audience.

Kind of - before the invasion, no-one in the west wanted to inflame the situation, and Putin took part in calls, discussions etc.

After the invasion, its clear taking part was all part of the act, he had no interest in a resolution, so the west feels played, and as Russia already has Ukr in flames, its no longer a problem to provide weapons.

As Putin said, let me be very clear, well indeed the west was very clear, massive sanctions if you go in. Given Putin was a KGB man, I doubt this included international finance, so he probably thought he would be limited on the jonnie walker for a few weeks.

Well, that scene was coveniently taken out of context, so here's the full interview. Unlike the Twatter crowd, I don't see any mentioning of the World Economic Forum or other conspiracy BS. Neither did the Fox interviewer ask back about that ominous new order. What she calls the "new world order" may just be a wish for the end of Russian imperialism.

Finally, the map has been drawn properly. Not occupied territories, but roads, which they provide to some extent, but not always. To the right and left and the famous Rasputinica awaits them (mud)

And return to watching doped athletes.
