A SAM hit would have blown that plane out of the sky... seems somehow a flybywire issue.

Ok looking at the vids, yeah they lost hydraulics and people call shutdown... on that one I wouldnt just jump on that SAM conclusion yet

The name Ursa Major rings a bell with me too.

I have seen an older ship with that name but in kyrillyc on the hull.

I would say Hanlon's razor applies here. Never underestimate the incompetence of Russian AD.
Wouldn't surprise me one bit. Ukraine's been increasingly hitting Chechnya with drones and it's only a matter of time before these drunk yokels start shooting at everything that moves.
