What EW typically does is disrupt the signal causing the projectile to crash or continue using INS guidance which is less accurate.

Actually taking over control ... can't recall any instances of that happening.

I doubt control was taken over. Being seduced away from the target is something navies have practiced doing since the late 70's, early 80's. Frigates and escorts mimic an aircraft carrier in battle groups to give missiles more targets and hopefully lure missiles away from the big fat carrier. We used to call our escort ships "missile sponges" for a reason.

It's very possible that EW platforms have painted that building as a more worthwhile target for the drones.

I'm not suggesting I'm right.....still waiting for a source to explain it

An electricity cable has gone offline between Estonia and Finland today. The cause is being investigated.

Quite a heavy cable apparently - the transported power was 658MW at the time of the incident.
