Truthfully, given the similarity of the equipment, I'm surprised that there haven't been more "friendly" fire incidents on both sides.

The Russian PoW is saying that he fought near Chernobyl. After defeating Ukrainian troops there, he was told it would be a good idea to take a Ukrainian uniform from a killed Ukrainian soldier and go to Kyiv to conduct a sabotage mission. He was captured, though.

Hello, I've been mostly been a lurker on MP.net, went awol during TheMess era but I knew which place to search for news and discussions when the war started. I wasn't sure what my first post should be about, I just want to say that I really don't have a clue what's going on there, what is real and what is propaganda. Most news outlets report twitter posts I've already seen here, often without verifying the facts, there is barely any information of value from official sources. I'm sure both sides stick to OPSEC, yet in other recent conflicts Western media was sharing plenty of information (with evidence) from NATO sources on the other side. I'm not taking pleasure from looking at the aftermath of war, I'd rather looks at maps and AARs than gore videos, but so far I feel most news being shared are very manipulative towards one point of view. Needless to say, I want the fighting to stop as soon as possible.

I was in San Marino, North Central Italy in 2019 a good few Russian boutiques and Jeweler shops thick Russian accent was everywhere, wonder how many of these will be sanctioned??
