OK. You got my attention now. First of all, I’ve been here since MilitaryPhotos.Net back from 2004.

Sure, whatever. But all I see is that you joined MI very recently, on 13 February 2023. Like I said, I haven't even read your posts, if you felt called out.

Today, your people rallied against EU and NATO.

The straw grasping is aneurysm inducing.

A couple hundred Alt Info extremists from the mostly Azeri populated area, do not represent the will of the Georgian people and their aspirations. Soon as those vandalists burned the EU flag, Georgian police arrived and raised a new one.
Both gov and opposition with their supporters, chose the EU-route. Over 3 million Georgians.
We are back to Square One of "not having a clue about the political environment in Georgia."

You have pro-russian TV channel

Please ...
French TV regulator urges Eutelsat to stop broadcasting three Russian channels
Weapon of mass distortion. How Russian TV channels bypass sanctions and continue to broadcast in EU

Channels like Russia Today should have never been allowed in any European country and USA, even before the invasion.

visa-free border for russians.

So do Turkey ( one of the most powerful NATO countries ), several EU countries, nearly all of Latin America and a boat load of other countries around the globe.

You put to jail your ex-president

Yes for abuse of power and the list could be much longer, from state budget theft to murders, if the West didn't throw tantrums, because he prob has too much dirt on several EU parliamentarians and US senators. The Georgian people demanded that he and his goon squad be judged for their crimes and almost revolted because the current Geo gov gave in to Western pressure. One of the major promises the ppl voted them into office.

Few days ago people tried to protest against new law. You were “Denied” EU candidate status because you didn’t meet the criteria, according to what you did to your ex-president - you have issues in that sphere.

Yes, they did, and the government withdrew the bill as a result of that. How about actualy telling the truth, instead of just half of it ?

You don't get it. Georgia won't be applied neither to EU nor NATO any time soon. The West will always find reasons to delay or denie. The blissful ignorance is almost adorable. The EU is barely true to their own criteria, especialy in terms of corruption. One giant scandal after another, all the way up to the European Parliament. If application processi were redone with current criteria, I suspect a lot of EU countries would fail miserably.

Georgia is ruled by billionaire, whos tied-up with ruSSia.

Ivanishvili made his billions in Russia and then used that money to built cathedrals and restore settlements in Georgia, before he helped remove Saakashvilis regime- who did a huge favour for the Russians, losing even more territory to them.
He spend hundreds of millions on the well being of his people. Which is why he is still so popular with the majority. The US want him back in official function because of that very reason. Sending their ambassador to him almost daily, threatening to freeze his assets. But he refuses to drag the country into war. Which is why the West is foaming so much.
I personaly don't want Georgia to be under any string puller, but that's not realistic. All countries are. However, the current gov is at least trying to avoid self destruction and despite all their flaws, they have my utmost respect for that.

Georgia never supported sanctions.

No, because it is so dependent on the Russian market, that santioning would deal great harm. Nobody would cushion that.

Georgia vote YES to “Russia joining WTO”.

Yeah ... over a decade ago, brokered by Switzerland, with the condition of international monitoring. You do realize that the US and the rest of the world massively benefited ( and factualy still do ) from trade with Russia right ... ? In fact, trade had even dramaticaly increased, including with European countries, the past few months. So how is that even remotely comparable.

Georgians are also fighting on ruSSian side.

There are probably more Americans and Italians fighting on the Russian side.

Meanwhile hundreds of Georgians are fighting for Ukraine in all sorts of capacity and lose more people than any of the other foreign fighters.

This is the lowest one so far and you should be ashamed.

That took me around hour to check, although I’m not good with your politics. I wrote my impression after few visits to Georgia. But you tried to introduce me as a liar. Most of the population could speak with you in russian, and the were happy to do so. I’ve heard how georgians say

Yeah and you got nearly all of it wrong, or fail to make a coherent argument.

Eastern Europe and all of ex-Soviet space can speak Russian ya dingus. Jesus ... what am I dealing with here ... ? Wait till this guy finds out, that Ukrainians can also speak Russian, way more fluently than us Georgians, and without the same thick accent. Nearly 70% of Ukrainians speak fluent Russian.

"Does that make Ukrainians traitors, to Ukrainians ? ?" - shonima, probably

What you claim is simply not reflected by reality and surveys. Plenty of videos interviews also on yt where Georgians express their views towards Russian politics and most of them are overwhelmingly negative. Most Georgians also don't speak Russian, but Georgian and they get increasingly less. Many who do also refuse out of principle because of the war. Tons of videos also from Russians expressing their disatisfaction with how they are treated. This is why shonima.

“we’re brothers, we shouldn’t have a war”, “we’re orthodox christians” etc.

Smh. What has become of this world.

Good people, whoever said that. You act like that was some controversial statement. Peace is always preferable.

You'll hear such talk in all Slavic / Eastern European countries, also in Greece, really generaly between peoples, also here but yes Orthodox and cultural affiliation plays a greater role in Orthodox nations, compared to Western Europe. I wished those two countries were not fighting, either. What a great thing that would be.

Georgians that are fighting in Ukraine, for the Ukraine are real heroes, I’ve noted that before.

Mhm. You're sending kind of mixed messages here ... Why not put that before "aha, there is some Georgians fighting for RuZZia !", insulting everyones intelligence.

But you got mad about phrase that you don’t want to fight for your country, it’s sad but true.

Because it's a lie. That's not just my opinion, but that of about every Georgian I talked to, from all walks of life. Including military and politicians. We want our regions back. But it's not possible rn with military option. For that, as others pointed out, we sorely lack the means. Wanting and actualy being physicaly capable of doing smth, are two vastly different worlds.

Real life is not a Total War campaign with money cheat. Just fyi.

Even I, who always prefers a peaceful solution, would consider and be tempted by military option. But we don't have that right now.

You have opportunity, but you are missing it.

Speaking from an armchair is easy. I have very credible information from people on ground there, who actualy deal in matters of military affairs and diplomacy etc. I love my old country and its military. I don't say these things because I'm "pro-Russian". I point them out, because I care and don't want to lose them, especialy senselessly. We are talking about lives.

Damn dude, this one must have hit you really hard. Now I really now that you are definitely BS us about Georgian politics. “He built a cathedrals” - really?. I’m telling half the truth? I’ve spent just one hour to find and compare some information about your country, you expect me to acknowledge everything about tiny country that has no big value for big politics? Few days ago I saw georgian police using pepper gas, rubber bullets and watrrspray against protesters, did they do the same today?
“I didn’t even read your posts” - OK
“Sure, whatever. But all I see is that you joined MI very recently, on 13 February 2023” - by this logic of yours I’m R Lee Ermey ?
I thought ruZZian users are funny, looks like you’re also quite an entertainer.

P.S Luckily you’re not joining NATO and EU anytime soon. Georgia is like Hungary, but far less important

Either all Putin bots read the same, or "the new one" is an old familiar. No matter in any case best on the igno list.
Twitter and Telegram is going crazy. Goblin hordes are attacking. Same messages and confusion

RuSSian channels are going crazy. I believe this action with RQ9 was planned to boost morale in their citizens. Jokes everywhere how “we slapped aneriKanz!” and “they have no guts”
IMO, US at least should take RQ9 worth $$$ from ruZZian deposits in the Western banks or provide Ukraine with ATACMS and long rage rockets to finish the bridge

Text on the pictures say:
“American military drone, go fu** yourself”
“I pissed on you, go check it”

I am sure this will have some kind of echo... And sure, with an unmanned drone, they play the hero....

Damn dude, this one must have hit you really hard.

Like what ? I didn't even have to double check to deflate all those nonarguments and nothing ever came from you.
But sure, if that makes you sleep at night, why not.

Now I really now that you are definitely BS us about Georgian politics. “He built a cathedrals” - really?.

The fact you replied so quickly, didn't even care to look that up, but judge regardless, tells everything anyone needs to know.

Yes, really. Ivanishvili financed the construction of the Sameba Cathedral in Tbilisi and the reconstruction of the Botanical Gardens.

He also carried the Saakashvili regime with over a $ 1 billion, when they took over in 2004, before they fvcked him over.

You don't have to believe anything I say. All of this information is quickly searched.

I’m telling half the truth?

Honestly, I am being very courteous here.

I’ve spent just one hour to find and compare some information about your country, you expect me to acknowledge everything about tiny country

If you can't or don't even care to do proper research and cope with people calling you out on it, then why are you wasting our time ?

Few days ago I saw georgian police using pepper gas, rubber bullets and watrrspray against protesters, did they do the same today?

What for ? They weren't attacked with Molotov Cocktails and rocks by thousands of protestors. They got there, small alt idiots were gone, and restored peace without issue.

I thought ruZZian users are funny, looks like you’re also quite an entertainer.

Adorable. Can you do more than just bias and projecting ? Like idk, do research ... anything.

P.S Luckily you’re not joining NATO and EU anytime soon. Georgia is like Hungary, but far less important

Yes yes, very mature and sophisticated blether. Thankfully none of those decisions and assessments will ever be up to you and your ignorance. Can be as petty as you want with your prejudice.

OK

@shonima are you a Russian ex-pat who has moved to the US?
I’m a half-russian half Ukrainian who left 12 years ago, after Bolotny protest movements, that’s when I realized that ruSSia is doomed. My friends died in 2014 in Ukraine, last year my relatives died in Zaporyzha oblast. I hate Kremlin, I hate russian politics. And yes, I’m proud American! I pledged to US, and I won’t let the shyte like ruZZia spread over here.
