Only 2 or 3 insignificant regimes have recognized your claim over Crimea as legit, basically shitholes like the cult of Assad and Maduro. The rest of the world have have a very different opinion, including your own traditional allies like China and Iran.

For some reason my brain read Baltic Sea when I first saw that so I figured it was just usual NATO provocation near Königsberg or something. The fact that it was near Crimea means Russia would have been justified to shoot it down.

great plan. How many Patriot systems do you think USA has. Take the number they promised Ukr, and treble it, as a result of this incident. Yanks wont get their hands dirty over this, no direct strike on the airbase the Su27's came from, but they will get their pound of flesh.
