No and to me it was pretty obvious that it didn't even without checking.

There have been a fair number of instances where Ukraine achieved something and then Russia claimed to have done something (almost) identical mere hours/days later.

What I personally think the goal is whenever this happens is to obfuscate the truth to the domestic audience in Russia both online and in public discourse. Russians entering something like "Ukraine 600 dead" in a search engine will be pointed to stories about a Russian strike killing 600 Ukrainians, not the other way around. Especially given restrictions on the internet in Russia.

The same goes for chat and face to face conversations. "Did you hear about the massive strike in Ukraine?" which due to government propaganda in many people's minds will be nationality-swapped from Russian to Ukrainian sooner or later. Most Russians get their news from government operated media and don't want to hear their narrative being challenged.
My first thougt was: How could they tell such lies, everyone can prove it via internet... But no, not everyone... Not in Mordor.

There were multiple sources for that.

Regarding the Challenger, its 120mm rifled gun is not produced anymore, while ammunition for it is produced in Belgium as far as I know. Each tank can fire a few hundred rounds before its gun is worn out. As these tanks are not brand new ones, their guns have already been worn out to some extent. Ukraine has no means of servicing and repairing the Challenger, while the UK’s abilities are very limited.

The alternative to Putin is either the ultra-nationalists or the communists. Oh joy.

I know exactly how that tank toppled over. It tried to ride on top of the embankment and slid down sideways. Either that or the driver was more drunk than usual and it's anyone's guess ...

another T-72EA from almost 100 tanks at this time manufactured for Ukraine in Czechia is finished by Excalibur Army. The tank has got message from the Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala for Ukrainian soldiers today - "To brave defenders of Ukraine, the Czech Republic"

Only that Ukraine can't do anything useful with the Challenger 2. The reason being the same as why Britain's plans to finally get a new gun installed in these things: they're worn out and not produced anymore. Leclerc would be a bad choice as well, due to so few having been built. The same probably goes for Ariete. (How come you always forget Italy in your meme-marathons? ;))

No, as far as Western tanks go, it ought to be either the Abrams or the Leopard 2 by virtue of so many having been built.

Speaking of Leopard 2’s … the Turks also have many.
