A few pages back you said that Russia produces more 152mm shells than NATO does 155mm. If that were so then why is Russian artillery firing far less than they used to, using shells well over half a century old and shells that are brand new production and why are they begging Best Korea and Iran for basic shells and rockets?Russian artillery fire down nearly 75%, US officials say, in latest sign of struggles for Moscow | CNN Politics
As Russia's invasion of Ukraine enters its 11th month, US and Ukrainian officials tell CNN that Russia's artillery fire is down dramatically from its wartime high, in some places by as much as 75 percent.www.cnn.com
NATO production is easy to check because unlike in Russia it isn't part of government propaganda and a war-fighting strategy. The only reason the US isn't flooding Ukraine with weapons and ammo is because they don't want to outpace their current production rate. They can afford not to deplete their own war stocks unlike Germany and co.
They are relying on miniature V-1s from the Mad Mullahs to fight their wars. Their ability to mass produce exists only in the minds of western experts and the people that tune into Russia24. Export projects prior to the war were always delayed and the production of new systems took place at a rate of a dozen a year or less. Now undee sanctions they are having to raid electronics stores for components.
Bottom line: Don't believe Russian figures, as with every other thing they claim they are lying about their ability to produce ammo.
The best thing the EU could do was to throw a couple of billion into building huge ammo factories for both ComBloc and NATO calibers in a place like western Poland who have proven that they won't block deliveries to strategic partners because of internal political pants-pooping.
