Warfare HAMAS attack on Israel, Oct 2023 & Iran’s Proxies.

That's a helluva statement. There are criminal cases, when soldiers (conscript criminals basically) would sell ammo, grenades and such to local gangsters. Sometimes even occasion AR. But selling actual weapons to actual terrorist would be an enormous scandal of epic proportions. Maybe there was a case like this, but I honestly can't remember a single one. There are quite a few IDF weapons over the years made their way to the terrorist, but this is simply from stealing (a big problem in IDF with ammo bunkers and armories security).
Agree. For sure one item could be stolen/sold. This war is 2 months old, 70 days. One Javelin a day, 70 missiles, thats about a 20' ISO container. So realistically you need an ISO per week, as a minimum. I cant see it happening in numbers to make it happen. For sure Hamas had some ATGM, and their own RPG warhead, other than that its AK's and a few captured M4. And if they got that missile somehow, 10-15 years ago, how reliable is it? Has the crew ever fired one - probably cant afford to - we saw vids early on, of hamas fighters hand-placing grenades onto Merkava - great balls, but very low life expectancy, and again doesnt suggest a vast arsenal of ATGM.

When this is done, we will find Hamas payroll, I'm expecting low 10K's. 20-30K active people. Also we saw the guy get shot, and the hamas medic went straight in to get the rifle. You dont do this if you have an armoury somewhere. Any $$ they did get, went into all the rockets, fired into Israel, which would be a much better spend for hamas, versus storing rifles and ATGM for what was a hyperthetical land invasion....which turned out to be real....

I saw a documentary in the 90s that followed a family of terrorists, IIRC PIJ, and the local cell tgey brlonged to. Most of their weapons were Israeli, CAR-15 and M-16A1. Could be captured ones, but they had the serials ground off and why bother to do that unless you're trying to hide the precise origin of the weapons. It's not like they're trying to abide by Israeli law ...

@m208 How you make weapons dissappear? You wait until they're slated for disposal so they're removed from inventory and then it's a matter of bribing or coercing whoever is meant to destroy the equipment.

The guns are in poor condition, but it's better than a slingshot and as long as the lower receiver is in working order every other part can be acquired through regular channels (especially the US) or on the black market and smuggled in.

Then there's the more basic parts like springs which might be worn out, but that's an easy fix for an experienced machine shop.
The 90s? You do know that there was a civil war (also) in the area at the time, with American weapons pouring in (-Yes, Israel was also generously handing them out to the Christian militias)

A 22 November through 2 December comprehensive survey in Gaza and the West Bank shows that 72% of Palestinians approve of Hamas' October 7 attacks. Interestingly, the approval is higher in the West Bank (82%) than in Gaza itself (57%), possibly due to their first hand experience of Israel's response in the Strip.

The attack raised Hamas' approval in all Palestinian territories (from 22% to 43%), but at a significantly lower rate in the Gaza Strip than in the West Bank; simultaneously, PLO's ratings have gone down from 26% to 17%.

Most surveyees claim that only Israel has committed war crimes since October 7, though as many as 17% of Gazans say that Hamas also committed war crimes, compared to just 5% in the West Bank. This result lends credibility to the survey, as it seems to show first-hand knowledge of Hamas war crimes and a willingness to speak out about them.

Yahya Sinwar (81% West Bank, 52% Gaza) is significantly more popular in all Palestinian territories than the extremely unpopular Mahmoud Abbas, who still enjoys a higher reputation in the Gaza Strip than in the West Bank itself (7% West Bank, 17% Gaza).

The survey, conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, polled 1231 Palestinian adults selected at random. (Source)

I'd say that settles it then, doesn't it.

Allow me to point out that even 57% (presumably the ratings in Gaza were higher before Israel responded) represent a much higher approval than Hitler (37.7%) or Toyo (none) ever achieved in actual elections, which didn't stop the world from rightful retaliation.

Seeing how we clearly have confirmation that IDF has cleared that building I suspect Hamas videos are just from their livestreams.

Also, they can't zero their weapons for sh*t, that "sniper" hit the wall above the IDF soldiers 4 times. Too bad the fifth shot might have hit one of the soldiers that got caught in the open.

The soldiers were suspended.

Don't have to zero your rifle when your bullets are guided by Allah and with the Turkish clown we've seen what Allah thinks of his followers.
