Warfare HAMAS attack on Israel, Oct 2023 & Iran’s Proxies.

Hamas attempted another large scale attack in the West Bank, but only one soldier died before they eliminated the three terrorists. RIP to the fallen soldier, may the injured steadily recover.

Meanwhile on the ground, IDF advances even further in Gaza, threatening to cut the North pocket in two (standard practice to eliminate pockets), as shown from the map below, taken from a pro-Palestine site. Israeli losses have barely reached 50 (may the rest in peace) since October 7th, which clearly shows that Hamas isn't successful or even particularly efficient on the battlefield. Fector in the fact that Hamas propaganda is turning towards victimization (after their blaring videos of the first days showing success against civilians or unprepared military). This is crucial for as long as Israeli success happens on the battlefield, you can expect Arab support for the Hamas to remain only vocal.

Interesting map... Israel has supposedly invaded Gaza yet at the same time it's also occupying it, pallybots can't seem to make their mind up, funny how there's a border line marked here. Even funnier is green is reserved for Palestinian advances, of which there are none 😂

Dont forget, most of the civilians have left, and Israel will have drones, and apache above, day and night. So moving anything would not be easy, for Hamas.

And the widest point is about 8km, or 5 miles. So a healthy human on foot, could walk it in 1.5 hours.

Probably Hamas will go down in history, as one of the dumbest terror organisations ever....

Was there ever a “clever” one?
Well The irish kept their thing going for 30-40 years, and 'only' killed a few dozen per year. In return they got BN's from USA and UK mainland.

Hamas had a good thing going, med sea, 72 virgins, guns and pickups, etc. kill a few israelis, a few hamas get killed, carry on.....loads of money from UN, EU etc. No responsibilities, no votes, and a council house in London when you retire.

Hamas have believed their own hype about destroying Israel, when the idea was to use that as a recruiting slogan.

I wrote earlier on this thread a lengthy post about how this whole affair is basically a result of our mutual fundamental misunderstanding of each other - hence their perceived stupidity. In the warped reality they live in, they believed we are weak on the brink of total collapse because of the very vocal political disagreements we had, which unfortunately also creeped into military. For us this is "normal" part of democratic life; for their autocratic Middle Eastern mentality it looked like a society in the middle of the civil war, which only needs a slight push to bring it to the knees... They also didn't understand, that the 7/10 horror show they put forward won't make us begging for mercy, but pretty much the opposite. In short, they are not idiots, they are simply delusional, and we have payed a heavy price for helping them to foster their delusions...

Okay, so a successful one? Name one?
It all depends on the time frame, doesn't it?
I'd say PLO was a success story - going from a bunch of hungry amateurs with AK's in the 60's to a universally recognized (quazi-) state actor with billions on their private accounts in the 90's and 2000's. If not the Second Intifada (an eerily similar miscalculation to 7/10), they'd have an actual country by now.
To a lesser degree - same with Hamas.
Terrorism does work - up to a point.

Turns out they all scream like bitches in the end:

Precisely - depending on the time frame.
On the long run, since we’re trying to focus on the topic at hand. Do you think Lebanons Hezbollah or Gazas Hamas is going to wipe out Israel from the map?

I’m thinking no. They can hit, and run. But Israel is here to stay.

Ditto the LGBTQ etc, we appear fractured, when in fact, we are so succesful that we can accept more diversity of opinion. they operate in a political 'system' where failure is measured in how many rounds of 9mm you will receive. So they dont 'get' political arguments. They dont seem to register the scale of 'the west' nor our ultimate ability to go to war, nor how little economic effort we are currently putting into 'war'. Also remembering that the only 'organisation' to use Nukes was 'the west'.
