The Nyland Brigade is the name of the Uusimaa Brigade (Uudenmaan prikaati in Finnish) only in Swedish. In Finland, Swedish and Finnish names are used - this is due to the history of this country.

Jaeger conscript with RAC 112 APILAS. Within the French Army it is categorized as "traumatic weapon", because of its blast and noise. A French soldier cannot fire it more than three times in his service during peacetime.

In April 2023, the NATO flag was hoisted on the mine countermeasures vessel Purunpää. Coastal Fleet exercised in the Gulf of Finland with the German and Portuguese frigates deployed with Standing Nato Maritime Group 1.
