5th week of basic training in CBRN company (or something, I don't know how to translate this) was spend on one of the four courses of the basic training: survival course. New conscripts get to enjoy their first night in forest. Aside from usual combat and marching training, conscripts learn how to survive and live in field conditions.
The scenario in this exercise was situation in which barracks had to be evacuated and personnel moved to emergencency lodging. Equipment was packed in barracks and troops continued to exercise area by marching.
Instead of tents the conscripts had camo nets that they had to use for lodging. Conscripts learn the basic skills: how to set up a fire, boil water, guard the base with night patrols and access control. Conscripts also had to learn how to camouflage vehicles.
