During June, members of 3rd/9th Light Horse (SAMR) conducted Exercise ES SALT, focused on mounted live fire training.
The activity was designed to reinforce core skills, improve crew coordination, and build capability through repetition in a controlled environment. The live fire range provided an opportunity to test drills and readiness.
As the sub-unit deploys on Exercise TALISMAN SABRE 25, this training marks an important step in refining skills and ensuring prepared for the tasks ahead.
