Following an inflight indication of engine malfunction, an IAF AVRO aircraft had carried out a precautionary landing at the Bhopal civil airport recently. Further analysis revealed the need for an engine change on-site.

Exercise Lamitiye 2024
Indian Army will participate in a Joint Military Exercise with the Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF) from 18 to 27 March 2024 in Seychelles. The participating contingents will share experiences & develop interoperability during the military exercise to undertake joint operations. The Joint Exercise will also boost the bilateral defence relations between both the Nations.

Fostering Camaraderie, Sharing Skills and Enhancing Capabilities.

Indian Coast Guard ship Samudra Paheredar a specialized Pollution Control Vessel is on OSD to ASEAN countries from 25 Mar - 12 Apr for enhancing cooperation, interoperability & demonstration of India's capabilities to ASEAN countries in the field of Marine Pollution Response The ship entered Manila, Philippines on 25 Mar 24. 25 NCC cadets are also embarked onboard ship towards giving Puneet Sagar Abhiyan an International reach.

Sea Phase of Ex Tiger Triumph 2024 commenced with ships of the Indian Navy & US Navy sailing out together. The Sea Phase will witness Service personnel from both countries going through various facets of amphibious ops including coordinated HADR & MEDEVAC.

A powerful display of Amphibious warfare capabilities by Indian Armed Forces and US Armed Forces as they practice amphibious battle drills during the ongoing Joint Exercise. The Exercise exemplifies precision in the conduct of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief HADR operations & commitment of both Nations towards peace & security.

Armed Forces of India & USA jointly operating at sea as part of the ongoing Sea Phase of Bilateral HADR Ex Tiger Triumph 2024 in the Bay of Bengal.

The amphibious warships of Indian Navy and US Navy undertook operations as part of the ongoing Ex Tiger Triumph 2024. Kakinada. The integral craft onboard the ships were deployed to undertake various operations. Cross Deck helicopter operations were also undertaken between the ships of the Indian Navy and US Navy off Kakinada. The seamless conduct of multifaceted coordinated operations is an indicative of the joint planning and execution, reaffirming the high degree of interoperability between Armed Forces of the two nations.

Coordinated battle drills, collaborative execution of the mission & synergetic application of force, displayed during the sea phase of the exercise by the participating troops.

India-Mozambique-Tanzania IMT TRILAT Sea Phase saw INS Tir, INS Sujata, Tanzanian Naval Ship Fatundu & Mozambique Naval Ship Namatili engage in coordinated Ops after rigorous harbour phase. Strengthening interoperability & readiness for maritime challenges.

Successful Anti-Piracy Operation by the Indian Navy. After successfully forcing surrender of the nine armed pirates , Indian Navy’s specialist teams have completed sanitisation & seaworthiness checks of FV Al-Kambar. The crew comprising 23 Pakistani nationals were given a thorough medical check up prior to clearing the boat to continue with her fishing activities. The pirates are being brought to India for further legal action in accordance with the Maritime Anti-Piracy Act of 2022.

In a swift sea-air coordinated operation, Indian Coast Guard evacuated a patient with suspected heart attack from Sri Lankan fishing vessel (SLFV) 'Kalpeni' about 100 NM from Chennai. The patient was evacuated by ICG ALH Mk-III helo deployed from ICG Air Station at Chennai.
