Chandrayaan-3 Mission update:The spacecraft's health is normal.The first orbit-raising maneuver (Earthbound firing-1) is successfully performed at ISTRAC/ISRO, Bengaluru. Spacecraft is now in 41762 km x 173 km orbit.

Chandrayaan-3 Mission: India celebrates International Moon Day 2023 by propelling Chandrayaan-3 a step closer to the Moon The fourth orbit-raising maneuver (Earth-bound perigee firing) is performed successfully from ISTRAC/ISRO, Bengaluru. The next firing is planned for July 25, 2023, between 2 and 3 pm IST.
 
PSLV-C56/DS-SAR Mission:
The mission is successfully accomplished.
PSLV-C56 vehicle launched all seven satellites precisely into their intended orbits.

PSLV-C56/DS-SAR Mission: The PS4 stage de-orbiting experiment is successful. The stage is purposefully manoeuvred to a 295 km x 300 km orbit. It now spends significantly less time in space, reducing its duration from over two decades to less than two months, before re-entering the Earth's atmosphere. Reduced time in Space = Less risk of debris!
 
PSLV-C57/Aditya-L1 Mission:

Aditya-L1, the first space-based Indian observatory to study the Sun ☀️, is getting ready for the launch.

The satellite realised at the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru has arrived at SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota.

Truly a monumental feat of the involved engineers and scientists!
Still, it leaves a stale aftertaste in my mouth. India received almost €1 billion in development aid from Germany alone last year; annual development aid from the EU-27 and the UK amounts to almost €5 billion per annum. You could argue that the European taxpayer has paid for this lunar expedition. And that is a huge problem considering that according to India's own figures 20% of the population still lives in abject poverty, the majority without access to electricity and running water. If you then take into account the statements of Indian politicians, it becomes quite clear that – at least for the Indian government – this is not about science but about joining the big boy club. Essentially, they let their own people starve for patriotic fireworks. That can't be right. And I'm by no means a socialist, by the way.

Super job India. I see the Rover is already out. There are some great minds and engineers over there. Everyone knew about Bollywood, but are we going to have a Bouston as well.

Chandrayaan-3 Mission:

On August 27, 2023, the Rover came across a 4-meter diameter crater positioned 3 meters ahead of its location.
The Rover was commanded to retrace the path.

It's now safely heading on a new path.
