Where your see the word 'Sepoy' - A sepoy was formerly the designation given to an Indian soldier. In the modern Nepalese Army, Indian Army, Pakistan Army and Bangladesh Army it remains in use for the rank of private soldier.

Bangladesh Army it remains in use for the rank of private soldier.

No,Army gave up use of primitive names after the end of the Hill Tracts Insurgency,and that was wayy before 2000s.Only paramilitary forces like Ansar and Border Guards Bangladesh use such names,but we have different names for different ranks compared to other South Asian militaries which still use it.Infact,in here,names like sipahi/sepoys usually refer to indigneous soldier during the British Colonial Era.
