Is this a military air base or mixed civilan airport?

L-R, four U.S. T-33 Shooting Star, one F-5 Freedom Fighter (Derg Regime era) C-119 Flying Boxcar, five or so USSR MIG-21, two MiG-23, two USSR Mil-24 Hinds (one next to Fishbed)

Appears to be a near full history of the Ethiopian Air Force on display here.(NO orderly disposal of these? Just dump them off the runway.)
Would be nice to recover them for static displays.

This is Asmara airport, which is also used by the Eritrean Air Force. Before independence, it was an air base for the Ethiopian Air Force, which is why many of the latter's old aircraft have been abandoned there, including F-5s, the iconic aircraft of the Ogaden war.

I'm afraid that you happened to miss to count the legendary USAF fighter jet, F-86 Sabre.

Among the delirect fighter jets, There should be one or two F-86 Sabre fighter jets as well.

Ethiopia is one of recipients of F-86 Sabre fighter jet.
