CAS was on a two day visit to Bengaluru where he flew the indigenous platforms, Light Combat Aircraft Mk 1 'Tejas', Light Combat Helicopter & HTT-40, which are being inducted into IAF as part of its drive towards Atma Nirbharta In Defence.

IAF Basic Flying Training School (BFTS) was reorganized in the year 2005 to impart basic flying training to Indian Army officers. The dedicated Qualified Flying Instructors at BFTS have trained over 800 Indian Army officers over the years.

General Manoj Pande, COAS visited the forward areas of Poonch & Rajouri Sectors and reviewed the operational preparedness along Line of Control. COAS also interacted with all ranks & exhorted them to keep working with the same zeal & enthusiasm.

General Manoj Pande COAS visited White knight IA and was briefed about the prevailing security situation. He visited the forward areas and complimented the commanders & troops for their professional standards, operational preparedness & ability to thwart any threat.

Transportable Satellite Terminals TST are held with Indian Army to provide secure & reliable voice, video & data connectivity to troops deployed in forward areas. TST, based on High Mobility Vehicle, can traverse along all types of terrain.

Ex Al Najah 4 India Oman coursed ahead with familiarization of weapons, equipment, orientation with Infantry Combat Vehicle BMP-2 of Mechanised Infantry Regiment Contingent of both countries exchanged best practices & operational expertise.

Indian Army T-90 Bhishma At Ladakh, Indian Army’s T-90 Bhishma tanks displayed attack maneuvers during a demonstration at an armored range at an altitude of around 14,000 ft in Eastern Ladakh.According to sources, around 15,000 troops from the J&K-based counter-terrorism formation were moved to the Ladakh sector several months ago to tackle the Chinese aggression. They added that these troops have been deployed in the Ladakh sector for "quite some time now" and would be assisting the Leh-based 14 Corps headquarters to effectively counter any future move by the People's Liberation Army.India had increased its troops' deployment in line with China's aggression along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh last year. Currently, the Ladakh sector now has two full divisions instead of one, along with additional armored and other units. #indianarmy

INS Tabar arrived at Mombasa Port, Kenya

INS Sumedha Mission Deployed to South Eastern Indian Ocean entered Perth, Australia 14 Aug 22.

INS Satpura is in San Diego United States, as part of commemorative visits of ships to 6 Continents, across 3 Oceans & 6 different Time Zones.

India-Brazil relations reached another milestone with the stopover of INS Tarkash in the Port of Natal on 7/8 bound for Rio de Janeiro. The frigate was received by the Indian Defense Attaché and Brazilian Navy officials, including the Captain of the Ports of Rio Grande do Norte.

Exercise Udara shakti: Glimpses of IAF Su-30 MKI aircraft receiving fuel from IL-78 MKI air-to-air refueling aircraft. The Su-30s flew non-stop from India to Malaysia while inducting for the air exercise.

PARA Commandos

Exercise Al Najah Indian Army & Royal Army of Oman exercised various tactical drills to include Cordon & Search, Room Intervention & utilization of ICV to share best practices between both the Armies.

Exercise Al Najah Validation phase : Indo-Oman exercise included key Counter Terrorism concepts & employment of new generation technology concluded at MFFR. Exercise has strengthened mutual confidence & inter-operability between the Armies.

4th Edition of India - Oman joint military Exercise Al Najah culminated after an intense Validation Exercise. This resulted in better understanding & enhancing inter-operability between both Armies.

As the IAF contingent moves into ?? RAAF Darwin base for Exercise Pitch Black 22, heartfelt thanks to our friends from the ?? French Air & Space Force for the Enroute aerial refueling support.

The four day Exercise Udarashakti culminated on 16 Aug 22 with a traditional closing ceremony hosted by ?? RMAF. The ceremony was marked with a 7 aircraft formation flypast by both Air Forces & exchange of mementoes between the contingent leaders.

General Manoj Pande COAS visited Spear corps & reviewed the operational preparedness. COAS was briefed by the Commanders on border management & internal security situation. COAS appreciated all ranks for their professionalism & exhorted them to remain steadfast.

Special Forces troops of Indian Army & ?? US Army practiced series of tactical drills during the ongoing joint exercise.

Lt Gen SS Mahal, Army Commander, ARTRAC visited SFTS and interacted with Special Forces troops of Indian Army & US Army participating in the Joint Military Exercise Vajra Prahar at Bakloh.

3rd Edition of India - ?? Vietnam Joint Exercise VINBAX culminated after an intense validation training. The joint exercise resulted in better understanding & further strengthened defence ties between both the Armies.

An Indian Navy high-altitude combat diving camp at Idukki which is used to train combat divers from Army, Navy and various Central Armed Police Forces. Indian Navy has the largest, most experienced and well equipped diving cadre in the country presently.
