CAS was on a two day visit to Bengaluru where he flew the indigenous platforms, Light Combat Aircraft Mk 1 'Tejas', Light Combat Helicopter & HTT-40, which are being inducted into IAF as part of its drive towards Atma Nirbharta In Defence.

IAF Basic Flying Training School (BFTS) was reorganized in the year 2005 to impart basic flying training to Indian Army officers. The dedicated Qualified Flying Instructors at BFTS have trained over 800 Indian Army officers over the years.

Transportable Satellite Terminals TST are held with Indian Army to provide secure & reliable voice, video & data connectivity to troops deployed in forward areas. TST, based on High Mobility Vehicle, can traverse along all types of terrain.

Ex Al Najah 4 India Oman coursed ahead with familiarization of weapons, equipment, orientation with Infantry Combat Vehicle BMP-2 of Mechanised Infantry Regiment Contingent of both countries exchanged best practices & operational expertise.

Indian Army T-90 Bhishma At Ladakh, Indian Army’s T-90 Bhishma tanks displayed attack maneuvers during a demonstration at an armored range at an altitude of around 14,000 ft in Eastern Ladakh.According to sources, around 15,000 troops from the J&K-based counter-terrorism formation were moved to the Ladakh sector several months ago to tackle the Chinese aggression. They added that these troops have been deployed in the Ladakh sector for "quite some time now" and would be assisting the Leh-based 14 Corps headquarters to effectively counter any future move by the People's Liberation Army.India had increased its troops' deployment in line with China's aggression along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh last year. Currently, the Ladakh sector now has two full divisions instead of one, along with additional armored and other units. #indianarmy

Exercise Al Najah Indian Army & Royal Army of Oman exercised various tactical drills to include Cordon & Search, Room Intervention & utilization of ICV to share best practices between both the Armies.

Exercise Al Najah Validation phase : Indo-Oman exercise included key Counter Terrorism concepts & employment of new generation technology concluded at MFFR. Exercise has strengthened mutual confidence & inter-operability between the Armies.
