Major escalation in fighting for the first week of May. I'll report on Ukrainian KIAs later on. This video is from the Ukrainian side, but once again the war always goes both ways.

Bombardier OUT!

Keep your opinions to yourself especially the so-called "Odessa massacre" and feel free to open another thread about your favorite Russian collaborators, which I promise I'm not going to visit to say nothing of commenting on, but don't pollute this thread with Russian propaganda. Kapish?

@AND I have no idea if your allegations are true but this thread is a photo thread and will not be turned into a political debate.

Let me be clear there is no loved lost between myself and anybody who has far right beliefs.

I have moved your post and titled it accordingly, I dont feel that I should negate the opportunity to discuss such things here at Mi.Net and will never do so but please consider where you post any further comments about these matters, respecting at least the integrity of a particular thread.

Thank you for your understanding

Guys, I apologize for a flurry of posts today. I want to clear my backlog just in case and my handlers at Sate department are furious that I have been slacking and threatened to cut my cookie compensation :)

Now onto serious stuff. Besides helping special forces through mutual acquaintance I literally stumbled upon very decent and incredibly positive young artillery officer from the 55th Artillery Brigade. Once again, this brought up a question that's been tearing Ukrainian society apart since the beginning of Russian invasion. In alternative universe, this young man would haven't been in the military and as mathematics young prodigy he probably would have employed by one of the major universities in the US or Europe, but in this time line and on this Earth he first tasted combat in the disastrous Ukrainian operation near Illovaysk in the Summer of 2014. However, he led his men through the Russian lines saving his subordinates and equipment.

He was very grateful for a flashlight(!!!) that accidentally found his way into his hands and through several folks made sure that the photo would reach me. Anyway, I have decided to personally gift him some top notch stuff, like backpack (Hazard 4, damn these guys should pay me for endorsements), lamps, active headphones, and some all weather notepads and pens.

Right now, I'm buying more of these notepads and pens for his artillery battery.

35th Marines Brigade because somebody in the Ukrainian government has decided that the port city of Odesa has to have its "own" Marines brigade even though that there are no resources and not nearly enough personnel to staff and equip it properly.
