55 year old Jr. Sergeant Yriy Konovod from "Aidar" Battalion 54th Infantry Brigade was killed on April 23rd by a Russian sniper. He was a veteran of the Soviet war in Afghanistan.

Well the supressed one is an MP5SD. MKEK doesn't have a license to manufacture that one, which points me to that the US supplied surplus guns. Another good indicator is the fire selector switch markings on the guns. Those are geman markings S-E-F. The turkish is E-T-S. They could still be turkish the Canik supports that but still it makes it difficult to see where they originally came from.
Ukraine, Memorial and Reconciliation Day, 8th of May. In theory, this holiday along with Victory Day, May 9th about honoring the fallen during during WWII, but it looks like it's going to take on a new meaning in years to come.
