Photo: Kazakh border guards detain Russians trying to enter the country illegally (cough, cough).
News has been spreading daily that the Russian government will ban conscriptable men from leaving the country next week. According to information, the provision will come into force from Wednesday, in connection with the results of the sham referendums in the occupied territories being submitted to the Duma on Thursday, after which Putin will announce the annexation of the territories on Friday.
The independent Russian news portal Meduza, citing government sources, said in the evening that the restrictions could come into force tomorrow. The military commander of the Rostov region, Igor Yegorov, did not wait for this either and said this evening that men aged between 18 and 65 would be allowed to leave the country only with the permission of the military authorities. At a press conference yesterday, Yegorov said that the training of those called up would take up to ten days (!
According to a statement from the Ukrainian General Staff this evening, some of those called up this week are already at the front. No other source has confirmed this so far, so we treat it with reservations, but it would not be a big surprise.
In Dagestan, there have been demonstrations against the conscription throughout the day, with several clashes between the population and the police. A large number of men from the Caucasus region have already been sent to the front.
A 30-kilometre queue has formed at the Georgian-Russian border, with many people leaving their cars behind to cross on foot, but there are already reports that Georgia is closing its borders to Russian men, following Finland. There is also a 30-kilometre traffic jam at the Kazakh-Russian border at Ozinki.
The Russian population is now not only watching Putin's war on TV, but has become part of it

Seriously, i cant understand how Germany is acting like Russia's bitch. I would demand those guys to hand over their passport and spit and stomp on their russian flags. Make them hate their Russianness. They arent refugees or people in need of help, they are a bunch of assholes taking a vacation while Ukraine is being bombardment. To make matters worse, they are even to cowardly to face up to the Ukrainians themselves.

The full mobilization will make it more bloody for the Ukrainians, more than the weapons, soon they will need an actual back up in actual boots on the ground, should Russia open up a second front to stretch Ukraine.

Accepting deserters is a two edged sword I know. Should specialists decide whats better.

On a benefit for the war effort basis.

There is this possibility of abuse,
and giving Russian deserters a cosy shelter while Ukrainian men must fight certainly doesn't look right.

If you guys want to chanhe Russia, give Russians no escape. Then let them focus internally and let these rats eat themselves to the bone.

But you can't deny the possibility of a huge leak or large degradation of skills though some deserters.

I'm not in a position to decide this. Personally I would accept all not wanting to participate especialky young people as they are often opposed (though some kind of internment would be needed).

But well like we say in Germany:

Mitgehangen, Mitgefangen (cling together - swing together)

Sadly, I have to agree with you. I also don't understand why no action is taken against these idiots....

Surprised they actually sent out a QRF.

Not surprised that they forgot the most important aspect in CSAR, suppressing the enemy.

Note the blue and yellow cabling (Y)
Yes - it looks an impressive build to be honest during a war

Only thing I did wonder was how long it would take to change the power plant over - always liked the plug and play on the Abrahams
