"Each citizen is responsible for the actions of his state, and Russian citizens are no exception. Therefore, we do not give asylum to Russian men who flee their country. They should oppose the war ," Kallas emphasized.

This, and so much truth in it.
This is the correct answer...

This changes everything the 100 % hidden mobilisation.

I would still let deserters come in. Even if they thought they could sit it out the last 6 months. It degrades the armed forces if the smart and

sometimes former specialists are not there anymore.

There are things you can't do well under 2 years working with it. And I mean you need that if you confront people who can do that.

The losses ratio with such encounters of inexperienced troops is staggering.

The West should up the ante and provide Ukraine massive firepower so as to be able to inflict massives losses.

Thats the course of war - when war is a greater danger than Putin things will change.

Russia's captive republics did most of the heavy lifting for Moscow for over a half century.

But what should they do? Its not like someone would come and help them.

See Chechnia they killed 10% of the population there. Afterwards you can live under the brutal rule of some local maniac.

Another example what happens when you get cought by imperial Russia.

Goldman Sachs: Europe may have won the gas war

The price of gas could be cut in half this winter, the U.S. bank estimates in a new analysis. This is because Europe's supply problems have been "successfully resolved". Will the gas price fall below the magic 100 euro mark at the end of the first quarter of 2023?

Lets hope its true...

The West needs to step up--bigtime. All the things we *could* have been doing all this time...
How true.

There are a lot of opportunities for additional arms to flow toward Ukraine, both older Soviet crap that still has combat value, as well as slightly dated Western equipment. The U.S. in particular has some flexibility in back filling those nations that donate equipment. Valuable training time is being lost and there is a window of opportunity that could slip away.

The elephant in the room is ammunition supply. This is going to be a problem with no quick fixes.

Full mobilization in places like Buryatia, Dagestan and Yakutia. Soft mobilization of critics and protesters in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Seriously, i cant understand how Germany is acting like Russia's bitch. I would demand those guys to hand over their passport and spit and stomp on their russian flags. Make them hate their Russianness. They arent refugees or people in need of help, they are a bunch of assholes taking a vacation while Ukraine is being bombardment. To make matters worse, they are even to cowardly to face up to the Ukrainians themselves.

The full mobilization will make it more bloody for the Ukrainians, more than the weapons, soon they will need an actual back up in actual boots on the ground, should Russia open up a second front to stretch Ukraine.
