Photos WW3 1985 - Team Yankee

Some French Army Gazelle's fitted with the HOT anti tank missile. I've got four of these pretty much completed but only had decals to complete two. I'll have to grab some more decals this week and finish the full squadron.

Had some spare T-55's sitting around and decided to paint them as an indeterminate African warlord's force. No doubt they will find employment against the likes of Delta, SAS or the Foreign Legion.

And here I have 100 points worth of Soviets. A Motorised Rifle Battalion consisting of 2 companies of infantry in BMP-2s along with supporting artillery, AA and a Tank Company of T-64s plus a pair of Mil-24 Hinds.

I say old chap, how does one tell which of them are Russians?

Well old boy, the ones that run are Russian. The ones that stand still are well disciplined Russians.

14 Lynx transports. I also now have 6 Lynx HeliTOW copters, but they are yet to be painted etc.

I have been very busy over the summer break and today I (finally) finished painting all my British Army vehicles.

Everything laid out on my gaming table

It's been a while, but I have still been painting.

Here we have about 90-95% of my British Army infantry formations. 2 full companies of infantry with supporting Milan, SFMG and 60mm Mortar teams plus some of the FV432 transports. Alternatively I can transport them via Lynx for that extra mobility (and vulnerability). I can probably put together a third company with the remaining unpainted minis.

This deployment is truly enviable, my most sincere congratulations, I suppose you must be a staunch player of those campaigns, I don't know much about it, but it must be very entertaining

Nicely done as I previously told you. Simple question: do you have a spare room (Guest room?) where you can put all of that? This obviously take space. Keep at it.

Heh, I own a three bedroom house. The master bedroom is for me and the GF, one bedroom holds our books and one bedroom holds our minis (and it's not enough, they keep spilling over to other rooms).

Noice. When in doubt, choose the modeling over the possible baby. ;) both expensive, but at least the modeling lets you sleep at night. Win win.

I've also 3d printed some more vehicles to use as backdrop terrain for gaming. VW Minibus, Mercedes 280 and a Ford Cortina.
