I've started watching 24 again from the beginning because I thought it would be funny. Turns out, it's not actually dated horribly and is still entertaining. Having said that, I'm only in the early hours of the first day which is before some of the stupid stuff comes in. From memory, in the first day I still have a case of amnesia and someone being stalked by a bobcat to come.

@Fish&Chips - I have been looking at clips from Sharpe on youtube - and it looks like it deserves a look.
I have always been a fan of Sean Bean, though I feel he has done some poor choices with many of the films he has been in.

Binged the Carnival Row recently. I remember trying to read the book a while ago, and couldn't get into it, but unexpectedly for me enjoyed the show immensely. Very well made, well acted, well written, just well everything. Not even a few cringe-inducing allusion to modern woke nonsense succeeded to ruin it for me.

@Flagg put me onto Utopia. So close to reality, it's probably not even satire. Very amusing.

Seriously, Utopia is as sharp/witty as The Office was awkward/cringey.

Really well written and the acting/comedic timing is bloody good.

It‘s the DS standard for a parody of government ineptitude.

Season 2 of "Love, Death and Robots", though not bad all in all, was underwhelming if compared to Season 1.

The shorts were entertaining but less "thoughts provoking" than those of Season 1.

Yep. Somewhat disappointing to be honest.

Ignore this if you're not into the second series yet,
but I've no idea who this guy is but he should have won every award going for this two minute scene. Absolutely put the shits up me the first time I saw it -

The British "Utopia" is remarkable...saw it a couple of years ago...The American remake is a disaster.

This Utopia is substantially less creepy.

I was very well entertained by a ten year old revamp of battlstar galactica.

It´s dark, has interesting religious undertones with machines developing something more than simply executing a program...And althogh some episodes are too long and there is clearly at least one season too much, I enjoyed it...Apart from the spaceships, everything looks vintage though..the President sitting at her desk with phones that look like the ones we had when the first series of Galactica was running more than 40 years ago.

The first Galactica was barely watchable with the Cylons being total morons, an obnoxious kid with a robot dog that should have been given the shot, and very campy acting from most of the crew.

EDIT: better preview:

Watched Caliphate (Kalifat) series this week.
As you could expect by name it is about muslim terror threat. Good impressions, very intense and dramatic.
Also, i think good for watching with you wife or girlfriend (that is rare for such shows) - scenario is mostly from women's point of view and very touching.

PS Show was filmed in Sweden and it looks surprisengly much like Russia for me. Ugly multistore blocks everywere, birch forests, old cars and shavedhead gopniks.

Jessica Walter didn't sound well.
