Photos Turkish Military Forces

We used nukes? Never heard of it:eek:

Honest John rockets were short range "conventional" nuclear rockets and their primary objectve is to penetrate a mass scale Soviet armoured attack which came from notheastern border in the time when we had USSR as our neighbour. Although our guys were fully trained to operate them on their own their nuclear warheads kept in survelliance of the US military personal stationed in Turkey who would let us to use in case of an aggression.

Apart from these I heard the rumors we also had 203mm depleted uranium shells for artillery (M115 and M110 howitzers) during the same timeline but never found an actual reliable source to confirm that.
