Thats how I see it from UK. The choice was economy/stability/doing things about stuff v LGBT be nice to everyone(even if not living in USA) dont shout at anyone, everyone in the world is lovely and nice, and can come and live here.

We all can do stuff for africa etc if our economy is strong. Likewise if you want to dress as a giant panda for sexxy time totally fine, if you have a job and are contributing. sexxy panda time does not come first.

That about sums it up and interestingly the Dems have for a while now lost most of their strength coming from visible minorities I mentioned before.

Same minorities that have settled in the US in the past decades but have enough of undocumented immigrants coming to Texas all the way north.

Trump won that one, in a near landslide.

America isn’t California or NY. Speaking to the common American worked fine this year again. He surpassed any hope of victory.

And Kamala now goes to the recycle bin of history, another muppet that nobody initially elected, implemented by the Ds in the hope to put up a fight instead of Biden.

The governments job is to govern, not to check who is sticking what where with who.

For the legal recent migrants, they know they will/are being swamped by the illegals - the maths is simple, and the illegals if 'welcomed' will be unending. The right answer has to be rules on coming, returns, plus foreign aid of a real help, like roads to access farm land, to grow crops for both local and export. Helps everyone. Giving everyone a hotel room in NY isnt helping. Same for London etc.

Curiously, my neighbor thinks I do not know what my former friends feel about me. How could I possibly not know? I regularly run across people who hate Trump as much as my former friends do. Either my neighbor doesn’t know that he lives in a bubble, or he doesn’t know that I do not. He can easily avoid conservative news. I, on the other hand, cannot avoid his sources of news because they saturate the air I breathe.
