Video footage of the Bykov being fitted with a Tor platform.
Though the Tor, in its tracked configuration, is able to fire while on the move, the ground remains a much more stable platform than a body of water. Thus one can wonder how efficient the Tor "slap-on module" will be.
That being said, the Pr22160 can be fitted with a variety of modules aimed at increasing its fighting capabilities (torpedoes, AShM, cruise missiles, etc...) which leads me to infer that that Tor module could be connected to the Pr22160 Pozitiv-MK radars. Thus solving, in part at least, the stability issue.
Sure it removes the Pr22160 ability to deploy and/or carry a helicopter (ka27/226) but since these are mostly used for ASW and Search and Rescue mission, and since the only subs currently in the Black Sea or Russians... these helicopters would not be used that much in the current situation.
