In the dark days of WW2 when Soviets lost so much armor to the German invasion and their own tank production had yet to ramp up, captured German armor was pressed into service whenever possible. Soviet production finally took off when multiple factories combined into "Tankograd" in Chelyabinsk.

Early Panzer IV. Early production had the "cigar stub" barrels.

4.7 PaK(t) (Sf) auf Panzerkampfwagen I aka Panzerjager I

A German hackjob of bolting a captured Chech gun onto a Panzer I chassis, being used by unfortunate Soviets. The gun was mediocre at best post-1940 with the AP ammunition being underwhelming and the tungsten rounds like with all German calibers never available in large enough numbers. Armor thin enough that shrapnel would penetrate it, high superstructure and zero visibility towards the front of the vehicle without exposing yourself.
