Confirmation that certain munitions are running low if confirmed. More specifically munitions with a manufacturing date later than 1991.I have no doubt that there are still 10's of billions of rounds of 5.45 with a manufacturing date going back to the 1970's still around, likewise other things that don't have much of an expiry date.

Just in case the Ukrainians didn't store as much as needed and the Russians aren't leaving their stuff laying around like usual which countries/factories have the manufacturing capacity and could be ... persuaded to provide for NATO sponsored bulk donations of ammunition?

It could just be that they want to provide more vehicle types for the future Ukrainian Armor Museum ?

US and EU just need to threaten public opinion, regarding normal Chinese products, which would massively exceed paltry orders from a bust Russia ( and how would Russia pay)……

You know, crosses spray paint on the roads, Ukrainian armored vehicles being mistaken for Russian ones by local militias, SOF unit being arrested by the police and treated as "Russians disguised as Ukrainians" (funny how that kind of "incident" is not reported on anymore).

Probably because in areas where UA or police units actualy did mess up like that, they got a clap on the hand, also because afaik there are strict rules now, like evening/night curfew etc.

Honestly I don't think EU needs to threaten anything.

China won't do anything in Ukraine during the active combat phase where their hand can be seen or detected.

Anything they can do during active combat without being the overt actor is a maybe. Open to negotiation at least. And they would totally be willing to play both sides. I wouldn't put it past them to supply accurate intel to both sides.
