Footage of the use of the Russian ATGM "Kornet" against the Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicle Bradley M2A2, American-made. The video was filmed in the Pokrovsky direction. Presumably, two ATGM 9M133M-2 with a tandem-cumulative warhead and a range of up to 8,000 meters were used for firing. The firing range of the ATGM "Kornet" is up to 10,000 meters. The Bradley M2A2 IFV was attacked by two ATGMs, the first exploded in front of the tracks, the second immobilized the IFV. The BRAT add-on protection and the engine softened the effects of the ATGM strike, the crew left the combat vehicle, after which mortars began to operate in the area.

We Paratroopers would stick stiff cardboard loops into our pant's legging to keep that nice line. I haven't figured out what this plastic would be used for. If it were for knee protection it wouldn't be so good sneaking around after dark. We never had any of this new body armor or extra protection. One reason my right ear is blown out, there were no ear plugs for sitting 3 feet from those mini s. Not to mention the white light after dark. No flash suppression on the barrels. We were just damned happy to get those mini s. Supply would give you a nice pair of sun glasses if you ask but I never was one to wear sun glasses. I wanted to be able to see 100 percent when needed.

The volunteer ranks probably start dropping off around winter time. Most people all over the world have no idea what perpetual below freezing means. That would be enough to make me look for other employment, preferably where it don't drop 10 or more feet of snow while I was asleep in some dugout.
