I think the WH know its coming, and they dont want to be seen to have caused it, hence the slow supply to Ukr.

Oil their main commodity being flamable gives Ukraine a gift for taking russia to its knees. The oil targets being the real reason the west don't want them to have long range ballistic missiles. Well they have said it themsleves in so many words.
Plus US secretary thinks we can all be friends soon.
Its amazing the depth of Russian brain washing. In the US if there wasn't a Fox news and Elon I shudder to think.

This is a tough and embarrassing way to find out that the old Soviet doctrine or way they conduct warfare is outdated. But if corruption were not so rampant throughout the Russian armed forces, they would have been more effective. Training is everything.
If kamel toe gets in, I assume that more taxpayer dollars are going to that meat grinder, and Putin is increasingly more unstable with each new embarrassment from his armed forces.
Trump gets in; he says he will end that war on day one
. So they get a reprieve to rebuild the war machine and fix what is broken (they might have to bring in consultants from Western nations
). But, you know...corruption, so

They do have copies (at least some) of the weapons that we send to Ukraine and can develop countermeasures.
This election will be very interesting, just on how it may affect this war.
Just my two cents this Labor Day morning pre-coffee.
